If you have been accused of sexual violence (sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, or stalking), sexual harassment, or other prohibited behavior, there are campus services available to help you understand your rights and the investigation and adjudication processes.
UC Santa Barbara has designated individuals, known as Respondent Services Coordinators, who can provide a contact for students or employees who are responding to a Title IX investigation.
It is important to note that while conversations between Respondent Services Coordinators and respondents are kept private, any information shared by a respondent to a Respondent Services Coordinator concerning details of an alleged incident must be shared with the Title IX & Sexual Harassment Policy Compliance Office.
Students who have been accused of sexual violence, sexual harassment, or other prohibited behavior and wish to request assistance from Respondent Services can contact the Respondent Services Coordinator at RSC@sa.ucsb.edu or (805) 893-5012. For more information about Respondent Services for student respondents, please see the UCSB Respondent Services for Student Respondents Guide.
Staff and faculty who have been accused of sexual violence, sexual harassment, or other prohibited behavior can contact Farfalla Borah, Respondent Services Coordinator, at Farfalla.Borah@hr.ucsb.edu or 805-893-4482. For more information about Respondent Services for employee respondents, please see the UCSB Respondent Services for Employee Respondents Guide.
